What a rewarding project.
Thank you students, teachers and parents for everyones involvement and excitement towards the CBC Music class challenge! It was such a huge production and it really took an entire school to pull it off! Thank you to our vocalists, instrumentalists and production crew for training, practicing and performing so well! Also a big thank you to our camera man Matt for editing the clips and helping to submit our project to CBC.
Unfortunately our class did not make the top 10, but we sure did stand out! We received a really kind email from Basia Bulat herself, as well as being retweeted by her to showcase our schools videos on her twitter page! Very cool!
We should all be proud of what we accomplished and we should be looking forward to next year on how to improve our playing, how to adjust our stage plot and class size, how to ensure everyone is involved and engaged, and many more things including my own skills in setting up microphones and recording!
It was a great success all around and I look forward to planning for next year!
