Guitar Club!

We have just started a guitar club at Dr. Coffin school. The club will take place every
Thursday at lunch recess from 12:25 – 12:55pm and is open to any student who is interested in playing or learning the guitar.
We have had two club days that have been fairly hectic, lots of people have just wanted to try playing instruments and
going a little wild as they see this as ‘free time’. Today we discussed this issue and have developed more of a structure
so that for the upcoming guitar clubs have some order to them.
In guitar club we are interested in learning more about playing chords, strumming techniques, learning songs,
singing while playing, and eventually we will get to the point where we can JAM with drummers and piano players. . .
but for now, we will stick with just guitar.
If you are able to bring your own guitar to school on Thursdays please do as I only have 6 available.
You can leave it safely in my room all day!
